Dorm Life

A thin wall separates the guy's dorm bathroom from our living room. And the guys know this, they know we can hear everything they say in the bathroom. Or at least they think we can only hear then when they shout. But this is not true, guys have some loud speaking voices. And we hear EVERYTHING they say in the bathroom. Also in the far bedroom, those girls are up against a guy's bedroom and can hear them talking in there as well. Or playing the guitar. So we have many stories of things we have heard the guys say in the bathroom. Some we do not wish to share. One though, cannot be helped but be shared.

I walked out into the living room to get a cup of water. Ever heard the the song 'So close' like ~I feel so close to you!~
So this is what I hear coming through the walls from the guy's bathroom.
"NAKED! I feel so naked!"
Sung, on key no less. I look at Allison the only other one in the living room. She is pulling her headphones out,
"What did he say?"
I just shake my head and laugh turning around and walking back into my room. A couple girls are on the floor talking.
"Do you want to hear something funny?"
They stop talking and are like ya?
"I heard Luke singing in the bathroom. He was singing, 'Naked, I feel so naked.'"
There are shocked expressions and then the room fills with laughter.
"I'm scarred!"
"That's so disturbing!"
"And you know he was totally doing that dance too while he sang that!"
I couldn't help it, when I sing I dance and that song calls for dancing! I suppose you can guess what my dance was. I won't describe it to you.

Needless to say we gave him a hard time about it the next day, he denied the whole thing. Lies.

WARNING: Estrogen Zone

You know you are in a girls dorm when you spend the whole night talking about boobs...when you should be studying for finals!

Dorm Life

This new thing we do in my dorm is when someone calls we pull an Elf,
"Hello Millender Dorm, what's you favorite color?"
Some people answer immediately and surprise everyone, others simply ask for the person they called for. We have started up a tally in the white board of all the colors people tell us, purple is winning. I'm very animate about who ever answers the phone to ask the valley's favorite color. Every time the phone rings and someone gets up to answer I shout, "Ask them their favorite color!"
One time my dorm dad answered and considering his sense of humor he answers,
"Hello Sarah's dorm, what's your favorite color?"

Once he also answered the phone by saying,
"Hello estrogen zone, how can I help you?"
Being the only guy in a dorm of girls can be hard, we pray for his soul.

Finally I was able to answer the phone my self!
"Hello Millender Dorm, what's your favorite color?"
The person, Joseph I figure out answers,
"...uh is Hayoung there?"
What a party pooper! I hand the phone to Hayoung who proceeds to talk to him in Korean and walk over the the door in the  laundry room that connects us to the guy's dorm. She yells at Joseph through the door and he yells back. I was actually quite offended that e hadn't answered my question so I walk into the laundry room as well.
"WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE COLOR?!?"
I shout at him. I honestly don't know what I expected to happen after that but it defiantly wasn't Joseph, the Korean gangsta of our school who has a bromance with another black gangsta to shout back at me,
"PURPLE!"
I was slightly shocked, in a good way, and then I laughed. I added another check to the tally for purple.

Daddy

Dad:
Here's your coffee.
Me:
But I just made tea.
Dad:
I know. And if you had made me tea then I wouldn't have had to make you coffee.

Does my dad make sense...I suppose in his own loving way :)
